Located on the peaceful outskirts of Ely, Cambridgeshire, our beautiful 9-hole golf course has been a proud family-run venture since it first opened its doors in 1999. Built and designed by Graham Mawe, the course is now owned by Graham and his wife Susan, and managed by their children, Oliver and Megan, who continue the family legacy with dedication and passion. Our course was specifically created to help beginners build confidence before progressing to a full 18-hole challenge. But don’t let that fool you—it’s a thoughtfully designed layout that challenges both the mind and the swing. Each hole has its own unique character and name, inspired by Sir Nigel Gresley’s tradition of naming steam engines after birds. These distinctive names and their vivid descriptions were penned by long-time friend and loyal customer, Stephen Pitt, giving every round a touch of storytelling charm. We also offer a 16-bay flood-lit driving range equipped with TrackMan technology, allowing players to enjoy accurate data-driven feedback on every shot. Whether you're just starting out or fine-tuning your skills, we make practice both fun and effective—day or night. But we’re more than just golf. At our welcoming Café, you can indulge in sausage rolls, pasties, cakes, and a range of treats.
